Check that notifications are on for The Leaving Hour in Settings › Notifications, and that a Focus mode isn't hiding them. Alerts come from our server, so they arrive even when the app is closed, but your iPhone needs an internet connection.

For trips that start from wherever you are, the app needs your location to work out travel time and to notice when you've left. "While Using" is enough. Trips that start from a saved place don't need it.

Times come from Apple Maps for driving and walking, and from published timetables for public transport. They're checked again as your trip gets closer, so a traffic jam or a cancelled service moves your leave time. If a time still looks wrong, email us the trip's start, destination and arrival time.

Your first saved trip starts a free week with every Pro feature. No card is needed and nothing is charged. When it ends you keep the free plan: one trip by car or on foot, without stops, which can repeat every week. You choose which trip stays active.

Nothing is deleted. Trips beyond the free plan are paused and come back as soon as Pro is on again.

Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. In the app, open Settings › Manage Subscription, or on your iPhone open Settings › your name › Subscriptions. You can also manage subscriptions here. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Open the trip and tap Share Trip. Sharing uses iCloud, so both of you need to be signed in to iCloud. Sharing trips needs Pro.

You'll get the sharer's leave alerts for that trip, such as "Sam leaves in 10 min" and "Sam has left". The sharer can turn this off for each trip. Alerts pause if the sharer's Pro ends.

No. Your location is never shared. They see the trip, its leave time, and when you've left.
